What is the rate case and how will customers be impacted?

The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (PUCO) announced the results of Enbridge Gas Ohio’s 2023 rate case in October 2025. The PUCO reviews and approves all our delivery costs to ensure the rates we charge to you are fair and reasonable. The Commission approved changes in the rates customers pay as of Nov. 1, 2025.

If you're part of the Percentage of Income Payment Plan (PIPP), this change won’t affect you. Your monthly payment will stay the same.

Visit our rates and tariffs page to view current information for residential, business (nonresidential), and commercial customers.

These changes apply to all Enbridge Gas Ohio customers but didn’t impact state-approved payment plan amounts for eligible low-income customers on the Percentage of Income Payment Plan (PIPP).

You’ll start to see changes with your November bill.

To find your new rates, please go to the Rates and Tariffs page.

Our 2025 filing seeks a residential increase of $7.60 per month, which is an approximately 8.8% increase in the average monthly residential total bill.

New gas distribution rates won't go into effect until sometime in 2027.

Additionally, this rate increase will not impact the calculation of amounts due for income-eligible customers on the Percentage of Income Payment Plan (PIPP).
